Verot School Road At Austin Village Intersection To Close

The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development has been working on the widening of Verot School Road for several months now.

Starting this Monday, June 19 through Monday, June 26, the intersection of Verot School Road and Austin Village Boulevard will be closed for some work.

They suggest that drivers use the following roads to get where they are going in this area:

• Digby Avenue
• Londonberry Square
• South Michot Drive

Department officials will have signs in that area to remind drivers about the closures.

They ask that drivers drive with caution in work zones including being on the lookout for workers and equipment.
