Unsigned Green Day Playing At Their High School 4 Years Before ‘Dookie’ [Video]

Here's some rare footage of Green Day playing at their high school before they were signed to a major label, and 4 years before the world would know who they were!

In honor of them getting inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame this past weekend, this is the full 55 minute long performance, including dropped drumsticks, and fixing a bass pedal.

This was even before long-time drummer Tre Cool joined the band. I don't know the story as to why this guy (John Kiffmeyer) left, but to me, it seems obvious, as in the first 30 seconds of this video he fumbles and drops his drumstick TWICE!
