24-year-old Damian Collins and 31-year-old Rasheedah Taylor, two recent employees at a Wendy's Restaurant in Eunice, are accused of identity theft.

Eunice Police Department Spokesman Deputy Chief Varden Guillory Sr. says they got a complaint from a male victim who noticed unauthorized purchases on his debit card at different locations in the Eunice are totaling over $400.00. Police say Collins used a cloned card which was loaded with the victim's information but signed his name, Damian Collins, on the invoice at checkout time.

After identifying him on surveillance video, Collins was found, arrested and put into the Eunice City Jail. He now has a bond of $15,000.00. He faces the following charges:

  • Identity Theft
  • Anti-skimming act
  • Access Device Fraud
  • Identity Theft

Rasheedah Taylor was an employee at the same Wendy's when Collins was working there. She's accused of using a victim's card to get $850 worth or purchases from Walmart, $93 from Dollar General and allegedly tried to make purchases of $254 and $139 at Fred's Pharmacy. She faces a $19,000.00 bond and the following charges:

  • Access Device Fraud - 2 counts
  • Attempted access device fraud - 2 counts
  • Anti - Skimming Act
