Two People Shoot At Each Other While Speeding Down The Road

Several people are injured after people in two cars were shooting at each other while they were driving down East Gloria Switch Road this morning.

Lafayette Police Corporal Karl Ratcliff says the two vehicles crashed in the 100 block of Gloria Switch at around 1 o'clock this morning after traveling at high rates of speed.

There were shots exchanged, and the Corporal reports one man was shot.  He is in stable condition at a local hospital.

Three other men were injured in the crash, two are considered to be in critical condition at any area hospital and one is in stable condition.

What led to the shooting and what led to the two chasing each other down Lafayette's roadways is still being investigated.
