Trump Promises New I-10 Bridge If Reelected

President Donald Trump said Tuesday that if reelected in 2020 “we’re giving you a brand new I-10 bridge”.

According to nola.com, President Trump said that if reelected, not only will he give Louisiana a new I-10 bridge, but he'll get started on it the day after he wins.

“We’ll start work on it right away, in terms of planning, everything. It’s a very unsafe bridge, a lot of problems, and we’re going to give you a new one. They’ve been trying to do it for a long time, so we’re going to start planning and development right away and we’ll have it all set to go, day one, right after the election.”

The section of I-10 President Trump is referring to is the Calcasieu River Bridge between Lake Charles and Westlake.
