Tropical Storm Warning Extended West To Texas, North To I-10
The 10am advisory is out as NOAA and the National Hurricane Center continue to monitor the system just off the Louisiana Gulf coast. The storm still has not been classified as a tropical storm, but the Tropical Storm warning has shifted west to Texas and north to I-10.
The forecast track and speghetti plots show a landfall over east Texas near the Louisiana border. KATC Meteorologist Dave Baker is still calling for heavy rain as the system moves ashore to the west of Acadiana in the next could days.
