TRAFFIC ALERT: Highway 92 Closure
The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development has announced the closure of a portion of Highway 92.
In Acadia Parish, between Morse and Mermentau Cove, a portion of Louisiana Highway 92 (between Louisiana Highway 91 and U.S. Highway 90) is closed until further notice, according to a post from Nixle and the Acadia Parish Sheriff's Office.

According to residents in that area, there are two bridges that are of major concern, which is probably the impetus for the shutdown.
