Tommy Lee Explains Himself On Rob Zombie Comment

I think we all got a little excited last week when rumors that Rob Zombie would be directing the Motley Crue autobiography surfaced. But now Tommy Lee is setting the record straight.

Motley Crue are trying to get a big screen version of 2002's "The Dirt -- Confessions of the World's Most Notorious Rock Band" film.Via email, Tommy Lee lays down the facts:

"I would LOVE to have Rob Zombie direct 'The Dirt,' but far as I know that's not happening.  I haven't heard that anyone has been picked yet. You know, the drummer's always the last to know. :) "
