Tom Hardy Took A Cancer Patient Out On A Date And Bought Her What?

Tom Hardy is awesome. He's a great actor for sure. It turns out he's actually good people too! When a 23 year old cancer patient went on a British talk show and said that going out on a date with Tom was on her bucket list...he made it happen! Oh, he also bought her something pretty expensive...just because he's Tom Hardy and he can. Keep reading to find out what he bought her and her account of the event.

“I nearly died when I saw him. I was shaking – I just thought we were having a day out in London,” Duff told The Canterbury Times. “Tom’s fiancée Charlotte and Katie arranged it all without me knowing, and he was so lovely and down to earth,” Duff gushed. “We had lunch and tea and scones and he bought me a diamond necklace.” Duff, who has a 2-year-old son named Kai, was on a break for the chemotherapy treatments she is undergoing for tumors in her liver.
