Throwback Thursday – Drew Brees Waiting To Be Drafted In 2001 [Photo]

The New Orleans Saints posted this photo to Facebook earlier today as a little Throwback Thursday/Draft Day preparation. It's a picture of Drew Brees waiting to be drafted back in 2001. There's some pretty interesting things going on in said pic. 

As I'm sure you know, Drew was the first pick of the 2nd round for the San Diego Chargers back in 2001. Thankfully, they decided to keep Philip Rivers instead of Drew after his shoulder surgery.

I'm fairly certain he's changed his eating habits now. No more full bottle of hot wings sauce! And that phone with the bent antenna though! How bad does that dog wanna tear into those wings with him?

One interesting thing in this picture that's kind of a foreshadowing situation is the New Orleans Saints are on the clock on his TV! For real. Look closely.
