The NFL Scrooges Alvin Kamara With A Fine For Christmas Stocking Cleats
Alvin Kamara wore a pair of cleats that resembled Christmas stockings on Sunday for the Saints vs. Falcons game.
The NFL's rules only allow players to wear cleats with team color schemes.
Kamara tweeted out a picture of the fine letter that the NFL sent him for wearing the cleats.
After the Saints win over Atlanta on Sunday, Kamara commented that he knew that he had the chance to be fined for wearing the cleats, but was hoping that the NFL would have a little holiday cheer and ignore them.
Thursday morning (12/28) he tweeted a picture of a piece of paper that says "NFL FINE LETTER" with "A. Kamara" handwritten above it.
The league hasn't announced how much the fine was, nor did Kamara add that to his tweet.
