Texas Scientist Creates Strands Of An ‘Invisibility Cloak’ [Video]

There are millions of Harry Potter fans out there that would like their own cloak of invisibility. Well, a scientist in Texas is working on making that fiction a reality. Ali Aliev uses carbon nanotubes--which look like pieces of thread--and then heats them up rapidly until the objects beneath them effectively disappear. Check it out after the jump.
