'Tales From The Darkside' Gets Pilot Order From CW Network

If you were into horror movies and shows back in the '80s, you probably remember Tales From The Darkside. Well, it looks like it's getting a reboot, as a pilot was ordered by the CW Network.

Tales From The Darkside was an anthology-style series that focused on a different story, with different characters and actors in each episode. Oh yeah, it was created by frickin George A. Romero! Also, it had the scariest opening music...EVER! Here, give it a listen:

I kinda miss these types of shows. There were quite a few of them back in that era of television. Monsters (the "funnier" version of Tales From The Darkside). Tales From The Crypt (who can forget the best host ever, the Crypt Keeper?). The Twilight Zone (how many times have you heard, "Feels like I'm in the Twilight Zone"?). Freddy's Nightmares (imo, one of the scariest things on television happened in this show). Unsolved Mysteries (cause they REALLY HAPPENED!!!). The list goes on and on.
