Take Part In The Autism Society’s 2nd Annual ‘Gear Up For Autism Awareness’ Car Show

This Saturday, May 4th at Turnley Park in Kaplan, take part in the Autism Society of Acadiana's 2nd Annual 'Gear Up For Autism Awareness' Car Show.

There will be live music from The Babineaux Sisters from 1PM-3PM and Cajun Heat from 3PM-5PM. There will be a silent auction, 50/50, fun jumps, face painting, food, soft drinks and beer.

The event originally started when Krystal Moss' son was diagnosed with autism. Herself and her mother-in-law noticed that the area they live in had little knowledge about what autism was. They decided to set up an awareness celebration that would bring information to the people of the community while giving individuals affected by autism and their families the opportunity to gather together at one location to network and have fun!
