A parent was upset her child was tackled during a youth football game. She then took to the field and threatened to slap that child.

According to reports, a youth football referee in Alabama has been banned from officiating games after video of him aggressively grabbing a player by the face-mask circulated online. The player's family wants a public apology for what the referee did during the eleven and twelve year olds' football game.

The event is being held on Sunday, February 28th (at Cajun Harley-Davidson) in conjunction with the Lafayette Swampcats' annual awards ceremony.

The deadline to sign up for baseball, softball, or t-ball will be February 1st.

Registration for sports like flag and tackle football, volleyball, baseball, and softball will be held at the Robichaux Center on September 12th.

A reward has been offered for information leading to the arrest and conviction of those involved in the crime.
