Alt-rock musician Kasey Anderson has just been sentenced to four years in prison after defrauding over 30 West Memphis Three supporters out of $586,000.
"The Lord Of The Rings" director Peter Jackson and his partner Fran Walsh, have been helping bankroll the investigation for the West Memphis Three's defense for the last seven years.
Yesterday we told you about the breaking news that there was a chance that two of the three men would be released from jail today. Turns out all three of them are now free men for 'admitting guilt'. The only thing I can think of is that the state knows they're innocent, but by them admitting guilt they don't owe them any compensation for the last 18 years of their life in prison...
According to TMZ, two of the three men known as the West Memphis Three, or WM3, may be getting out of jail after "admitting guilt". I'm not quite sure how that works, but this is a huge update with them.
