Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development workers will once again set their sights on the Eloi Broussard Bridge over the Vermilion River in Lafayette.

Thursday will be a big day for repair work across Lafayette Parish. Plus, there are lane closures happening near the Louisiana-Texas state line that you need to be aware of.

DOTD has seemingly responded to residents concerned with a bridge on Hwy 353 (Lake Martin Road) over the Vermilion River.
