The University of Louisiana at Lafayette announced today that they will be closed on both Wednesday, August 26th and Thursday, August 27th due to Hurricane Laura. Classes will resume remotely on Friday, August 28th.

The earlier start date is one of several changes the University has made to its academic calendar as it prepares for the safe resumption of on-campus instruction and housing and residential life in the fall.

The University of Louisiana at Lafayette and other institutions are making plans to get back to normal classes in Fall 2020.

Prospective graduates were told the news in an email from UL Lafayette President Dr. Joseph Savoie.
