Twinkies

This may be the greatest thing in the history of great things.

There was a time that you could only find them at fairs or festival events, but now deep-fried Twinkies are coming to a town near you.

America's long national nightmare is about to end.

Whew! It looks like Twinkies will indeed be back. Possibly as early as this summer! Hostess closed it's doors and filed for bankruptcy last year, and caused quite the stir. We even ran out and got some to give away to some lucky citizens! Check out how we might be getting our Twinkies back, and what other delicious cakes of joy might be coming back with them.

In the wake of the closing of Hostess, many are worried that they won't be able to get Twinkies, and driving the prices of the snack cakes up to absurd degrees on eBay. Good thing the recipe is easy to find, if you're not made of money.

Today, it was announced that Hostess, makers of such snack cakes as Twinkies, Ding Dongs, Ho Ho's, Hostess Cupcakes and Sno Balls, is going out of business.
