An investigative report claimed Ticketmaster has been ripping customers off by using their own ticket scalpers.

In a recent undercover investigation, Ticketmaster was reportedly caught participating in a "secret scalper program" with ticket scalpers, and as a result making a mint from the ticket fees.

Ticketmaster has invested in facial-recognition technology that it said could lead to faster access to events along with increased protection against fraud.

While it may not be a lot of money back, a class action settlement against Ticketmaster will see the ticket giant paying back some of the fees that they were making money from.
