A 14-year-old girl in Avoyelles Parish was arrested on Wednesday for making a prank call threatening Bunkie High School.

A woman has turned herself into authorities after she allegedly made a threat towards a fraternity house on campus.

Authorities in Louisiana responded to a high school campus after reports came in that a student had a gun in their possession, while at school.

One Louisiana high school student didn't even make it to the first day of school after he was arrested for making several threats to two female students.

The St. Martin Parish Sheriff's Office said that on October 3, 2022, threats were made on Instagram regarding Cecilia Sr. High School and Cecilia Jr. High School.

The Lafayette Middle student is the fifth to be arrested for terrorizing this year.

This is the fourth LPSS student to be arrested for terrorizing this year.

School will be in session tomorrow, but there will be an increased law enforcement presence.

The St. Martin Parish School Board said last night that they received information in reference to a social media threat regarding Cecilia Jr. High and Cecilia Senior High School.

The same day as one threat locks down the school, a second threat comes has LPSS and LPD on high alert.

The student who made the threat is 17-years-old.
