To accompany the release of their highly anticipated fourth album ‘Amaryllis,’ Shinedown are planning to come out with a unique e-book. Being the first of its kind, the “completely interactive” e-book will contain commentary, video footage and other exclusive content from the band.

If you’ve ever wanted to shred it up like Shinedown guitarist Zach Myers, here’s your chance: the axeman is giving lessons Thursday, March 15, via a video stream on Shinedown’s official site.

With their new disc ‘Amaryllis’ not out until March 27, Shinedown already have a reason to celebrate this month. The album’s first single ‘Bully’ has taken over the No. 1 spot the Active Rock Chart. The song has been gaining steam since its release on Jan. 3, and has now bumped Volbeat’s ‘A Warrior’s Call’ from the top of the tally.

Rock on the Range returns to Columbus Crew Stadium in Columbus, Ohio on May 18-20 and this year’s monster lineup includes a little something for everyone, whether you’re a metal head, a headbanger or just a melodic rock junkie.
