New Orleans/Lafayette based Royal Teeth are making their way back to Lafayette! We got singer Gary on the phone to chat about what they've been up to since the last time they've been back, new music, story time, and more!

Lafayette's own Royal Teeth got some major exposure last night by performing on FOX's American Idol. They performed their single 'Wild' from their debut album 'Glow'. Watch their entire performance on Idol below.

Royal Teeth will be hosting their CD Release party at The District in Lafayette Friday August 16th! They've been traveling all over the country supporting their new record "Glow" that comes out August 13th, and they're coming home to Lafayette to tear it up in celebration of the new disc.

Royal Teeth are coming back to the area. They'll be playing at The Varsity Theatre in Baton Rouge on Thursday May 23rd. The kicker...it's a FREE SHOW!!

Lafayette's own Royal Teeth were signed to Dangerbird Records last year. They have an LP coming later this year, but today, ladies and gentlemen, they premiered their video for their song 'Wild' on MTV2 and MTVU. Watch the video here!

The popularity of local Louisiana bands continues to grow throughout the nation, with Royal Teeth being the most recently sign band to come from 'round here. They'll be celebrating with a performance for Downtown Alive on June 1, 2012! Los Angeles based Dangerbird Records is proud to announce the signing of New Orleans' Royal Teeth, who will expand upon promotion of their debut EP,  Act Naturally 

Royal Teeth, who are essentially from Lafayette and New Orleans all at once if you can comprehend that, recently played Austin's HUGE SXSW festival. CNN featured one random band that was playing the festival and took took Twitter to find them. That one band was Lafayette/New Orleans own Royal Teeth! An electronic soul band. Givers meets Adele. I got the chance to catch Royal Teeth's latest Lafayette show at Nitetown the day before Thanksgiving, and let me tell you, I was blown away. Their sound is both unique and warmly familiar.
