Every year in October, the third floor of the Lafayette Science Museum is the scariest place to be. You have to be real brave to enter the Museum of Fear and every year, it gets more frightening. But it takes a lot of hard work to make it such a great place to get frightened beyond all belief!

This past Saturday was the Museum Of Fear's inaugural ZombieWalk! Hundreds of zombies gathered on the lawn of the old city hall downtown Lafayette and proceeded to roam down Jefferson Street all the way to Parc Sanc Souci.

Lafayette isn't the only place with a Zombie Walk this Halloween. Recently, over 12,000 people in Chile joined in the fun dressing up as zombies and other undead monsters in the biggest gathering of the event so far.

The Lafayette Science Museum Foundation, the host of the Museum of Fear, is launching its inaugural ZombieWalk. Free for participants; everyone is encouraged to join in on the fun, to watch in horror, and/or amusement, as Downtown Lafayette is overrun by zombies in celebration of Museum of Fear’s last installment of the 2012 season...

Halloween is right around the corner! It's October and also time for the Museum Of Fear, which takes place every Friday and Saturday night in October at the Lafayette Science Museum downtown.
