One thing Conan does from time to time is put together montages of news stations "ripping and reading" stories off the wire, delivering them in exactly the same way.  With the holidays approaching, every news station around the country appeared to be doing the same kicker story about Christmas shopping and the folks at Conan noticed some similarities in their reports.
