Well that didn’t take long. Following David Ayer’s recent teaser image of the character and Jared Leto’s own candid Snapchat pic, the director has officially revealed the first legitimate photo of Leto in character as the Joker in Suicide Squad. He’s very pale, very tattooed and totally insane. And he’s nothing like any Joker you’ve ever seen before.

A few weeks back, we heard that Ryan Gosling went in to meet about a possible role in WB's 'Suicide Squad' film, but it wasn't clear which role that might have been, as details about which characters might be featured in the movie are still a mystery. According to the latest report, Jared Leto is now up for that role -- and that role could very well be The Joker, Batman's longtime nemesis.

Heath Ledger's performance as Joker in The Dark Knight is obviously considered one of the best performances in a comic book movie (if not ever, amma right?), but we don't get to see a lot of behind the scenes footage.
