Well Hugh Jackman did say there was some stuff about Wolverine 3 coming “in the next week or so.” He is a mutant of his word! The Movie Formerly Referred to as Wolverine 3 has an official title, unveiled by Jackman himself on his Twitter account:
The Wolverine 3 (or 2, if we’re ignoring X-Men: Origins, and we should) hits theaters in about six months, which means we should be seeing a teaser trailer…well, any day now, really. Rest assured, director James Mangold is working hard to deliver the first footage from the upcoming sequel, but until then, Bryan Singer has confirmed a major X-Men villain for Hugh Jackman’s final outing as the iconic superhero.
While Hugh Jackman and Wolverine make only a very brief appearance in X-Men: Apocalypse, the Oscar-nominated actor and his popular mutant alter ego are returning for Wolverine 3, the upcoming sequel that will serve as Jackman’s last. From the Apocalypse press day in London, we have some new details on the film including that filming has now begun and that, as rumored, Wolverine 3 will be rated R..
Earlier this week came the X-Men: Apocalypse trailer that confirmed what we all suspected: Wolverine would be making an appearance in the upcoming X-Men movie after all. Most of us also assumed that decision was made because Hugh Jackman is a huge star and Wolverine is the most popular and recognizable of the X-Men and having him in the movie means more $$$...
There’s been a lot of talk about the battle for superhero supremacy between Batman vs. Superman and Captain America: Civil War. Almost a footnote in that race is X-Men: Apocalypse, but if the mutants needed a little help, they got it today in this new trailer, which brings back your favorite adamantium-clawed Canadian...
The Deadpool Effect is now officially a thing. As many predicted and suspected following Deadpool’s surprising success at the box office this past weekend, movie studios would try to capitalize on the success of that film by making their superhero movies R-rated (ignoring the fact that that was just a very small part of why Deadpool was successful). Just this morning we brought you the news that the X-Force movie could be rated R and now comes word that Hugh Jackman’s still untitled final Wolverine movie (Wolverine 3? The Wolverine 2?) is being planned as an R-rated film.
Dear Hugh Jackman, you know that 'The Tonight Show' is on television, right? More specifically, it's on live television in front of a studio audience, which means hundreds of people are watching the show in person, with millions more watching at home. In short, it's a very bad place to decide to cheat at a game, particularly if that game involves standing on an oversized pool table in front of said audience.
Following yesterday's news from Fox that 'Wolverine 3' will be released in 2017, following 'X-Men: Apocalypse,' we now have even more news about the upcoming 'Wolverine' sequel, which seems to be picking up steam pretty quickly even though its release is still a few years away: Hugh Jackman will indeed return as your favorite Canadian mutant, and David James Kelly will be providing the script for
Recently, Hugh Jackman spoke about wanting a huge crossover film that would bring the X-Men and Spider-Man into the world of 'The Avengers.' And today at Comic-Con 2013, Andrew Garfield expressed a similar thought.
In the last trailer for The Wolverine we got a lot more of the story and what's going on. There was some action in there, sure. But this trailer is pretty much ALL action. We even get a clip of Wolverine fighting Silver Samurai! Check out the video...
We showed you the first trailer for The Wolverine a few weeks ago. Hugh Jackman is back! This time, Wolvie is in Japan trying to forget the events of X-Men: The Last Stand (just like everyone else). Check out the new trailer!
If you've been waiting for another Wolverine movie, have no fear! It's almost here! We have the first international trailer for The Wolverine, featuring Hugh Jackman once again as Wolvie, although he doesn't seem to like being called Wolverine anymore...It looks like this will take place after the events of the X-Men movies. Check it out
Hugh Jackman is continuing his streak of being in every single X-Men movie ever made. It looks like he'll be reprising his role as Wolverine in X-Men: Days of Future Past. And yes I used Wolverine as a verb in the headline...Deal with it.
The next adventure for Wolverine will take place in Japan, where he'll do battle with Samurai's and more. Fox has released the first official photo of Hugh Jackman from The Wolverine. I think they got the hint when X-men Origins: Wolverine was panned by critics and fans alike. This one should be more straight up with less of throwing all these other mutants into his movie. Needless to say, this pa
