In the clip, Love reads aloud an angry letter a fan wrote in response to the cover of the April 1992 issue of Sassy, on which the two affectionately appear.

Nobody ever set out to be a grunge icon — at least nobody who actually became one.

Courtney Love has apparently approved a forthcoming book about Kurt Cobain written by her former Hole bandmate Eric Erlandson, on the condition he leaves out details of the relationship between himself and Love.

Former Hole guitarist Eric Erlandson has signed a deal to publish a book about the late and legendary Nirvana frontman Kurt Cobain. Having been friends with Cobain and band mates with his wife Courtney Love, Erlandson has composed 52 letters and compiled them together in ‘Letters to Kurt.’

We reported earlier that Courtney Love really went off the deep end during a Hole concert at the SWU festival in Sao Paulo, Brazil, over the weekend, stripping off her clothes and using the stage as a bully pulpit to rail against Foo Fighters frontman / former Nirvana drummer Dave Grohl.
