Last night was the 2nd Annual Masquerade Ball at The Green Room downtown. To say it was a hoot AND a holler is an understatement! There were lots of masks, king cake, and beads galore! Then, the second line through the bar happened and went into Jefferson Street! Check out the video after the jump!

So, yesterday for Mardi Gras we stopped in at the Green Room downtown. We saw these guys, who turned out to be from Opelousas, with some horns and drums and such walking down Jefferson St. A friend of mine offers them $3 to play a song. We thought they would break out on the street. We thought wrong. They marched inside and played a ROCKIN set for about 30 min!!! Here's some video of it to check o
