Our series of the most famous people in each Acadiana parish continues this week as we take a look at notable folks from Jefferson Davis Parish.

Last week we started a new series where we take a look at the most famous people in each Acadiana parish. We started with Acadia Parish and this week move north a little bit to Evangeline Parish.

I thought it would be fun to celebrate and acknowledge some of the more notable Acadiana natives that have helped really put us on the map. So, today I'm starting a series of articles where we'll highlight the most notorious people from each parish.

There are those infamous gangsters like Al Capone that everyone has heard of. He's been portrayed several times on the big screen. There's also lesser known gangsters that have been portrayed in famous movies. Some of the gangsters portrayed in Goodfellas, Donnie Brasco, The Departed and many more have been based on real people, some of them using their actual names. Check out these pics of infamo

For whatever reason (probably cause he's awesome) there's been a lot of Pee-Wee Herman talk around the building as of late. I even went as far as to start using the theme song to Pee-Wee's Big Adventure as my ringtone...not even joking. Anywho. I'm not the only one who wants to hang with Pee-Wee.
