A teacher in Detroit is getting an education in how not to intervene. A teacher in the city's Pershing High School has been fired after she broke up a fight between two students with a broom.

Two years ago, Kickstarter launched a page to have a statue made of Detroit's most infamous cop, RoboCop! The Kickstarter page raised $67,436 and the 10-foot statue is near complete.

A man accused of dumping tree parts on a Detroit street tells a reporter "I don't listen to women." The man - Ihor Stetkewycz of Warren, Michigan - also claims to be from Mars. Seriously...this guy is for real.
