State Rep. Harold Ritchie has proposed a $1.54 cigarette tax in Louisiana, which is more than 4 times what the tax is now.

The author of the measure, Marrero Rep. Patrick Connick, said he wants to send a message that this behavior is a serious problem.

Any person with common sense knows that you shouldn't light a cigarette near gasoline. In this security camera footage, this guy is stealing fuel from someone's vehicle and during the theft, he decides to light up a cigarette and then he gets lit up. Is it karma, or just plain stupidity? I think it's both!
