Breaking Benjamin's lengthy layoff may be coming to an end, as court proceedings between frontman Benjamin Burnley and two of the band's former members concerning the rights to use their moniker have concluded with the vocalist emerging victorious.

The drummer slot in Black Label Society has seen a lot of turnover in recent years. Former drummer Will Hunt left in early 2011 to resume his role in Evanescence. This fall, the band is touring with Judas Priest. The man in charge of, as Black Label frontman Zakk Wylde puts it, “holding down the foundation of the black cathedral” will be former Breaking Benjamin drummer Chad Szeliga.

If you have been keeping up with Breaking Benjamin news, the band is broken but is not broken up. It all started because of a conflict with this version of the song "Blow Me Away". This version of the song features guest vocals from Syd Duran of Valora. Check out the video for "Blow Me Away" after the jump.

Breaking Benjamin has been broken over a song dispute. The dispute, over a new recording of the band's hit song "Blow Me Away", erupted in May when lead singer Benjamin Burnley fired the bandmates, guitarist Aaron Fincke and bassist Mark Klepaski, via e-mail.

On August 16th,  Breaking Benjmain is set to release a greatest hits collection entitled  "Shallow Bay: The Best of Breaking Benjamin".  The greatest hits collection will be available in standard and a two disc deluxe edition. Below is the track listing...

Breaking Benjamin will release a new version of their track “Blow Me Away” on June 7th. The new version features guest vocals from Valora and is expected to be included on a greatest hits release due later this year.
