A federal grand jury indicted a Lafayette man for allegedly making a bomb threat and attempting to rob a bank, according to U.S. Attorney Stephanie A. Finley.
At least one person has reportedly been arrested for for allegedly phoning in the bomb threat that last week shut down the campus of the University of Louisiana at Lafayette.
Earlier this morning Broussard Middle School administrators were informed that a student had written on a bathroom stall’s wall that there was a “pressure-cooker bomb” on the school’s campus.
