A Lafayette Consolidated Government work crew cleaning a coolly near Hillside Drive found a dead body on Friday.

The body found Tuesday morning is being identified as 58-year-old Donny Joseph Jacobs of Sunset, according to the St. Landry Parish Sheriff's Office.
