COVID-19 safety guidelines remain firmly in place, and local ATC officials say they will be keeping a close eye on bars and restaurants to make certain it stays that way
The Louisiana Office of Alcohol and Tobacco Control sent out a press release today detailing an update as it pertains to the modified Phase 2 plan that Governor Edwards has put in place with COVID-19 cases rise across the state.
The state is now under a modified Phase 2 that went into effect today. These restrictions call for bars in parishes that exceed 5% positivity for two consecutive weeks to cease serving customers indoors.
Mayor LaToya Cantrell announced yesterday that other changes will include an increase in the number of people allowed at indoor gatherings from 50 to 100.
As more Parishes throughout Acadiana meet the state requirements for bars to reopen in Phase 3, Louisiana has updated and released guidelines to safely reopen.
