311 Day 2016 will be returning to New Orleans at the Smoothie King Center this Friday and Saturday and last week, I got to speak with 311 bassist P-Nut about what to expect from the show.

Louisiana is in a bit of a financial "debacle" as I like to call it. Many residents agree that instead of raising taxes, getting rid of certain aspects of education and college football and athletic programs, the legalization of marijuana can help to solve this serious problem.

Planet Radio 105.1 welcomes 311 back to New Orleans for 311 Day 2016. This two day event will take place on Friday, March 11th and Saturday, March 12th at the Smoothie King Center.

To celebrate their 25th anniversary, 311 have announced they will release the career-spanning box set, '311- Archive,' on June 30 via Legacy Recordings.

Doctors? Nick don't need no stinking doctors! Nick Hexum was forced to play midwife after his wife Nikki went into labor unexpectedly last month. In an act of "Hands On Parenting - Extreme Edition"  Nick had to deliver his second daughter Maxine Vita at his house, despite a brief panic when the baby became trapped in the birth canal!
