Donte DiVincenzo came off the bench to score 18 first half points and Villanova won their second National Championship in three years, defeating Michigan 79-62 at the Alamodome in San Antonio.

DiVincenzo, the Big East sixth man of the year, helped lead the Wildcats to a 23-7 run late in the first half en route to a 37-28 halftime lead.
