St. Thomas More Graduates First Feature Film Opens In Theaters

A Lafayette native worked on a major feature film that is being released in theaters today.

23-year-old STM graduate, Kevin Lu, was a computer animator for the movie, The Book of Life.
Lu received a BFA in Computer Animation from Ringling College of Design and Art in Florida.
The movie is directed by Jorge R. Gutierrez and stars Diego Luna, Zoe Saldana, Channing Tatum, Ron Perlman, Christina Applegate and Ice Cube.
The Book of Life is about Manolo, a young man who is torn between fulfilling the expectations of his family and following his heart, embarks on an adventure that spans three fantastic worlds where he must face his greatest fears, according to IMDb's website.
The Book of Life is PG rated hit theaters nation-wide.
