Two teachers at Washington Elementary have been arrested for allegedly bullying at least one student.

St. Landry Parish Sheriff's Office spokesman Maj. Eddie Thibodeaux said 50-year-old Tracy Gallow and 44-year-old Ann Marie Shelvin were arrested today following accusations from the mother of an 11-year-old girl.

According to the release, Shelvin intimidated and interfered in the operation of a public school with students by threatening to fail them if they would not fight with one of their classmates. Shelvin also reportedly told the bullied juvenile to, “Go and Kill Yourself.”

Once Shelvin was escorted off of the school campus, Gallow took over her class. Gallow was seen twice on video footage of "pushing and pulling" on the girl because she had reported Shelvin';s alleged bullying. Gallow admitted to pushing the juvenile on the bleachers because she felt she was too upset to go start her testing.

Shelvin was charged with two counts of encouraging or contributing to child delinquency, malfeasance in office and two counts of intimidation and interference in the operation of schools. Her bond was set at $2,000.

Gallow was charged with malfeasance in office, simple battery and intimidation and interference in school operation. Her bond was set at $1,500.
