For the last 30 years, the Space Shuttle brought NASA astronauts to Low Earth Orbit and back and in the last decade, to the International Space Station and back. Once the last mission of the Space Shuttle Atlantis touched down on Earth's surface in Cape Canaveral, Florida early before dawn this morning, NASA's Space Shuttle Program came to and end.
