As you probably have heard, a group of hackers known as the Guardians of Peace, hacked the Sony Pictures server and released a lot of information including DVD screeners of certain Sony films like Fury, and the remake of Annie, movie scripts including the new James Bond film SPECTRE and private information including emails and employee information.

The hack seems to have happened because of Sony's upcoming film 'The Interview' starring Seth Rogen and James Franco, which is about two journalists going to North Korea to assassinate North Korean president Kim Jong-Un. Pretty good motive to hack Sony if you are from North Korea right?

Now, the group has issued a threat is SONY releases the movie. They have threatened any theater to release the movie and referenced September 11th in their threat. You can read the entire message below.

Warning

We will clearly show it to you at the very time and places “The Interview” be shown, including the premiere, how bitter fate those who seek fun in terror should be doomed to.
Soon all the world will see what an awful movie Sony Pictures Entertainment has made.
The world will be full of fear.
Remember the 11th of September 2001.
We recommend you to keep yourself distant from the places at that time.
(If your house is nearby, you’d better leave.)
Whatever comes in the coming days is called by the greed of Sony Pictures Entertainment.
All the world will denounce the SONY.

What do you think? Should Sony release the film despite these threats?
