If you're a Sons of Anarchy fan, you may remember Johnny Lewis as Half Sack. His end was met in a rather tragic and strange way. He is suspected of killing an 81 year old woman who may have been his landlord, or former landlord. He then jumped or fell from the roof of her house, and was found dead in the driveway. Keep reading for further details.

From eonline:

Officers had been sent to the residence after receiving reports of a woman screaming.
According to a Los Angeles Police Department spokesman, Lewis was seen fighting with neighbors outside following the alleged altercation with Davis. He was then spotted climbing up on the roof  and was later found dead in the driveway.

What's more, sources tell E! News that a dead cat was also found inside the home, beaten to death.

Sons of Anarchy creator, Kurt Sutter, says he wasn't shocked by the news of the death of Lewis. Read what he had to say on Twitter via Inquisitr:

In a Twitter post following the grisly murder-suicide scene Sutter tweeted that the loss of Lewis is:

“A tragic end for an extremely talented guy, who unfortunately had lost his way.”
Sutter further wrote:
“I wish I could say that I was shocked by the events of last night, but I was not.”
The shows creator then added:
“I am deeply sorry that an innocent life had to be thrown into his destructive path. Yes, it’s day of mourning, but it’s also a day of awareness and gratitude. Sadly, some of us carry the message by dying.”
The crime and his death was not shocking to Sutter because Johnny Lewis had been arrested on several occasions for violent crimes before murdering his landlady on Wednesday morning.
