Sixth Annual ‘Fishing For Memories’ Fishing Rodeo June 19th-22nd

The 6th annual Fishing for Memories: A Benefit Rodeo for the Alzheimer’s Association will be taking place in Intracoastal City June 19th through the 22nd at the Vermilion Boat Ramp, right next to Maxie Pierce Grocery.

Youth compete for lifetime fishing licenses. Anglers in the adult division compete for over $14,000. The Kayak Champion, Best Offshore Boat, Best Inshore Boat, and Biggest Rodeo fish will win plaques.

There will be live music from Jaryd Lane & the Parish on Friday night and Geno Delafose on Saturday night. You can purchase tickets at Tcoons, Acadiana Outfitters, Abbeville Snapper and Maxie Pierce Grocery. The auction and awards ceremony will be Sunday.
