Sir Elton John Contracts ‘Potentially Deadly’ Illness

Sir Elton John has been forced to cancel the remainder of his April  "Million Dollar Piano" concerts at Caesar's Palace. All performances for the month of May are cancelled as well. Sky News reports, the legendary performer became violently ill on a flight to England after completing a recent South American tour. He was reportedly in an Intensive care unit for several days after contracting a serious bacterial infection.

Elton's representatives issued a statement saying he'll next perform at Twickenham, England on June 3rd.
