‘Sharknado 2′ Is Coming – YOU Can Subtitle It Via Twitter

Yesterday we showed you the trailer for the next shark infested movie from SyFy, Ghost Shark. Today it was announced that SyFy has green lit a sequel to Sharknado. It's tentatively titled Sharknado 2. There's a contest via Twitter for YOU to give it it's subtitle. Keep reading to see how you can subtitle the sequel!

The Asylum, the shingle behind the first “Sharknado” along with other Syfy original movies, will return to produce the telepic, which will take place in New York City. (“Sharknado” was set in L.A.) Syfy will debut “Sharknado 2″ next year.

Syfy is also giving fans the opportunity to create “Sharknado 2′s” subtitle by submitting their ideas at @SyfyMovies using the hashtag #Sharknado. “Sharknado’s” subtitle was “Enough said.”

“Every once in a while, there is a perfect storm – on television. The fans are clamoring for a sequel. Or perhaps it will be a prequel. What we can guarantee is that ‘Sharknado 2′ will be lots of fun,” said Thomas Vitale, exec veep of programming and original movies and the cabler. “We’ll be announcing more details very soon. But we didn’t want our fans to worry they wouldn’t get their fill of more shark fin, I mean, fun next year.”
