Shaq Admits He Had A Hand In ‘Boy Bands’ Uprising In The 90’s
Boy Bands ruled the charts and airwaves during the late 90's. You have one person to blame that you probably never thought would have had a hand in it. Shaquille O'Neal.
When you hear bands like *NSYNC or Backstreet Boys, you probably wouldn't put the basketball giant in the same sentence as them. Well, maybe you should.
*NSYNC's Lance Bass recently told TMZ Sports that Shaq was partially responsible for their success.
“Shaquille had a big hand in starting our career. We lived in Orlando and our first place that we recorded at was his house. All of our first demos and first songs were all from Shaq’s house. So yeah, he had a hand in creating us”
When you hear something like that, you probably think he's joking, or just flat out lying. Well, Shaq confirmed the Bass' claims on NBA on TNT. According to For The Win:
“When they were young, they recorded their first album at my house, at the studio at my house...*NSYNC and Backstreet Boys. True story.”
Oh, Shaq. What have you done?
