Sandbag Locations Announced for Lower St. Martin Parish Residents

As public works and the Office of Homeland Security Emergency Preparedness continue to monitor the threat of high water in lower St. Martin Parish, the St. Martin Parish Government announces there are now two places where sand piles with bags can be obtained by residents:

• Corner of Stephensville Road & LA-70 at Doiron’s Landing (behind the car wash)
• LA-70 on the levee side across from the Belle River Volunteer Fire Department

At this time, sand distribution is self-serve.
