Saints Sign Another Special Teams Performer
The New Orleans Saints are bringing back a key special teams performer.
The Saints signed safety/special teams performer Shiloh Keo to a one-year deal on Wednesday, just one day before the NFL free agency period begins.
The 29-year old Keo was signed at the veteran minimum.
A native of Bothell, Washington, Keo appeared in three games with the Denver Broncos last season, before signed with the Saints in November. While he didn't play a snap on defense, Keo logged 130 special teams snaps in the last seven games of the year.
A 5th round pick by the Houston Texans in the 2011 NFL Draft out of Idaho, Keo spent three seasons with the Texans, before his stint with the Broncos.
In parts of five NFL seasons, Keo has compiled 93 tackles and 3 interceptions.
On Tuesday, the Saints re-signed another safety/special teams performer, Chris Banjo, to a two-year, $2.6 million deal.
