Saints Lose Third Player To Broken Fibula This Year
For the third time this season, the New Orleans Saints have lost a player to a broken fibula.
The 26-year old Hill suffered the injury second quarter, and did not return.
Hill, a 4-year veteran out of Idaho St., joins cornerback Delvin Breaux and defensive lineman Sheldon Rankins, who have both since returned to action, as players that have suffered a broken fibula.
The 6-foot-5, 250-pound Hill has appeared in nine games this season, including eight starts, totaling 15 catches for 149 yards and a touchdown.
Other tight ends on the Saints' roster include Coby Fleener and John Phillips, while Garrett Griffin and Jake Stoneburner are on the practice squad.
